My name is Sean Richardson. I have lived all my life in the Shoals area of Northwest Alabama. I graduated from Lexington High School in 1982. While there I participated in Baseball, Scholar's Bowl (Captain), National Honor Society (President), and was in the Academic Top Ten.
I attended college at the University of North Alabama and graduated from there in 1987 with a Bachelor's Degree in History and Geography. I went back to UNA in 1990 to earn my teaching certificate for secondary education.
I am married and have two sons, ages 12 and 7. They attend Covenant Christian School in Tuscumbia, Alabama.
I got started in computers back in the early 1980's when I got a Commodore 64 and learned BASIC and then started writing my own programs. I have also had classes in FORTRAN, Assembly Language, and PASCAL. I didn't do much with computers after I gradutated from college, but got back into them when I started working at Radio Shack.
I've had experience working on and repairing PC's from the 286 to the present Pentiums. I have also worked with a local company as their web page/e-business consultant and have set up many web pages of my own. I taught myself HTML and am currently preparing for A+ certification and then plan to pick up some network certification.
I enjoy reading and have a fairly large library. I also enjoy music and have taught myself to play piano, guitar, cello, and violin. I enjoy photography and have even had my shots used for album covers. But most of all, I love my family and would very much like to do work that will provide them a consistent, adequate income.
